A Raindrop Drawn in Matte Gold

Made in matte-finished 18k gold, the large organic raindrop pendant is pierced with smaller drops and circles. Three diamonds totaling 0.015ct add small points of light across its openwork surface.

The open spaces do more than make the pendant feel airy. They allow skin or fabric to become part of the design, filling each tiny drop and circle with a color that changes according to what is worn beneath it.

Against that changing background, the three diamonds remain bright, fixed points. The matte gold keeps the soft outline and uneven contours of the larger drop easy to see, while the diamonds catch the light as the pendant moves. It is a familiar raindrop shape that never looks completely closed or still; a little of the day always shows through it.
