A Spoonful of Light in Blue

This necklace keeps the presence of turquoise at the center, then adds a small diamond above as a quiet finishing touch.

The turquoise is beautifully polished, yet its shape is not overly precise. It retains an organic outline with a softly rounded fullness—our designer Maya calls this shape “the pillow.” The gentle irregularity feels calming and natural, giving the stone a comforting, grounded character.

Pyrite inclusions within the turquoise catch the light like tiny gold bits. Their warm glimmer blends into the blue rather than overpowering it, creating a subtle depth—less “blue and gold,” and more like light that has wandered into the stone by chance.

The setting is kept deliberately minimal so the turquoise remains the focus. Small prongs avoid interrupting the stone’s surface, emphasizing not how it is decorated, but how its expression is revealed.

Above, a single small diamond adds a crisp point of brilliance. Against the soft mood of the turquoise, it brings gentle definition and classic elegance—cheerful in its light, sophisticated and tasteful in its balance.
