There are stones that hold their secrets until the light finds them. Labradorite is one of them — the kind of stone that can sit quietly on your hand all morning, then catch an afternoon angle and suddenly blaze with a wash of shifting blue, an inner light that seems to move from somewhere deep inside the stone. This ring was made in oxidized sterling silver to match a stone of presence. The arabesque motif winds all the way around the band, its surface left raw and textured, exactly as it came from Maya's hands — built up in wax, drop by drop, layer by layer, then cast without polish or smoothing. That freehand quality is the whole point. You can feel where the wax was pressed and coaxed into shape, and on a piece like this, that's not a flaw. It's the signature.

Oxidation was applied directly into the recesses of the texture, which deepens the relief and gives the ring a rugged, almost ancient quality — the kind of thing that looks like it was found rather than made. The large labradorite sits at the center of all of this movement, calm against the swirling silver. Wearing it, you might feel a little like you're carrying something elemental — like the ring chose you as much as you chose it.
