A Tokyo Wildflower in Gold

Three petals surround a tiny diamond in a flower pendant made in 18k yellow gold. The design takes its shape from tokiwa-tsuyukusa, a wildflower found along Tokyo’s roadsides.

Light Along the Petals

Only the edges of the petals are polished. Their recessed surfaces have a matte finish, so the light traces the flower’s outline while the diamond adds a glint at its center. At about 1.1cm across, there’s room to see each petal’s shape without making the pendant large. An open-link chain completes the necklace, and a 5cm extension lets you adjust where the flower sits, whether you wear it against your skin or over clothing.
