A symbol of strength and adventure
This 18k yellow gold ring is mimicking the rugged patterns of weathered beach ropes. Elevated on this twisted design rests an antique cushion-cut diamond, blending modern design with a touch of timeless charm that is both elegant and unique.
This 0.494ct antique cushion-cut diamond has a classic rectangular shape with rounded corners, resembling a cushion or pillow. Originating in the 18th century, the cushion cut's larger facets impart a soft, romantic glow, reminiscent of candlelight’s gentle flicker. Held by four minimal prongs, the diamond rests on an elevated crown, allowing light to flow beneath it and creating an interplay of light and shadow.
Designer Maya found her inspiration during seaside strolls, where weathered ropes—perhaps brought in by the tide or left behind by fishermen—each hinted at untold stories. These encounters gave her an inspiration to create her first rope ring as a symbol of strength and resilience.
